A refreshing review of art experiences delivered by great artists in concert halls, churches and even in a steam train, in the forest, or in the intimate ambience of a late evening concert. To accompany the concert series, the Nurmes Summer Academy presents the performances of rising young talents. Audiences may follow teaching and lecture events, and you may even attend a private master class of your own! Pianists Tuija Hakkila and Anna Laakso are responsible for plotting the artistic direction of this event.
