This unique event is famous for its energetic gigs, warm atmosphere and celebrated performers. Organised at the Tervasaari UPM paper mill and in the grounds of Myllysaari museum, the broad programme includes pop, rock and rap music, workers’ songs and world music.
The cultures of the world will come together in Kaisaniemi Park and the Central Railway Station Square on the last weekend in May for a major free event offering a wealth of art and action for the whole family. The programme will include dozens of performances from various parts of the world, frank discussions, films and documentaries. There will also be opportunities to encounter a wide range of exhibitors, civic organisations and exotic culinary experiences.
Our splendid wintertime city festival will bring a wide range of Finnish and international artists to Oulu. Artistic Director Jaakko Kuusisto has prepared a programme of premiere performances, major productions, chamber concerts and club events, together with master classes in classical and rhythm music.
