Leading chamber musicians will transfix the town of Kuhmo in Eastern Finland this July. A skilfully designed festival programme, inimitable concerts, beautiful surroundings and sunlit nights will open the senses to new and sublime delights.
Finland’s most cosmopolitan festival of period instruments will bring gems of early music, celebrated orchestras, highly distinguished musicians and unique concert experiences to the mediaeval church and modern chapel of St. Lawrence in Vantaa.
A week of top class concerts with leading Finnish and international performing artists at several concert venues in unique and scenic surroundings. Our chamber music entertains audiences at churches, chapels, village halls and other interesting venues in the district, with larger symphony orchestras also visiting in interim years. Artistic Director Anna Aminoff was also a founder of this festival in 2006.
Finnish and international artists will bring memorable chamber music experiences to the Finnish capital, delighting all friends of urban summer events at a wide variety of venues in the historic surroundings and downtown districts of the city, and focusing particularly on its unique art nouveau concert halls. The audience-friendly ambience, accessibility, and reasonably priced or free admission concerts are key features of this popular annual festival.
